An assistantship is a financial award to a graduate student for part-time work in teaching or research while pursuing study toward an advanced degree. The primary goal of an assistantship is to assist students in strengthening and successfully completing their academic program. There are different types of assistantships that a student can hold. This information can be found in the Office of Academic Personnel link below. Most Research and Project Assistantships are arranged directly with the desired faculty advisor. You can reach them directly via the links above to inquire about available funding and research advisement options.
